Criteria for the evaluation of Project Oral Presentations

This document explains how the oral presentations of projects will be evaluated. DOWNLOAD HERE

 

 

  • Activities. Only SOME of activities below will be assigned. The others are here to help you practice more.

 

ACTIVITY 1:   The case of the Plant Relocation is a case study that will give you a lot of material for talking about ethical behaviour ( the topic of the reading text on page 13 of the Activity Book ). Read it and decide on ONE of the three options presented or simply continue all operations within the United States. Explain your answer and the factors you have considered. WRITE your answer as an essay of 120 to 140 words.

 

ACTIVITY 2: Read The Case of the Sole Remaining Supplier and write your solution to the question " What do you do?" at the end of the text. Your composition must be between 120 and 140 words and be organized in paragraphs (  review you English IV notes and the TIPS above ).

ACTIVITY 3: Read part of the article Different Company Structures ( down to the fourth type of structure: trading trust ; DO NOT continue reading the Frequently Asked Questions ).

Prepare a graphic organizer ( mind map, mental map, etc.)  to show the principal characteristics of each structure mentioned in the article. Be ready to present it to your class if necessary.

 

ACTIVITY 4: Print the article On the Job: Survey Rates the Best Companies to Work for, and write a summary of the ideas presented. Use between 120 to 140 words.

 

ACTIVITY 5: Write a Resume ( Curriculum Vitae ) and a letter of application for the ad on page 23 of your book Insights into Business.
